Why this is different

You didn’t arrive on the planet as a blank slate. And neither did your business.

Your business doesn’t carry all the human emotional baggage that you (and I) have had to deal with.

This is part of the reason that creating your own business is notoriously a space that demands major personal growth and healing.

You know the baggage you carry - perfectionism, overwork, prioritising others’ needs All The Damn Time, self-doubt, difficulty claiming your sovereignty, underearning. handing over power to the latest business trend or ‘guru’.

Your astrological chart is like a star map which reveals the full, glorious human being you came here to be; and provides a handy guide to the planetary allies who are your greatest helpers for doing things the easiest, most enjoyable ways possible.

And so is the chart for your business (and yes, we CAN figure out its exact date and place of birth).

The Nuts and Bolts

I am your cheerleader, your ally, your tour guide, your confidante and your partner-in-liberation, for the whole period of this Consult, not just during the time we meet face to face.

The You and Your Business StarMap Consult includes the following:

Preparatory work (that feels less like work, more like a big warm hug). Prior to your first session with me, you will have access to my deeply compassionate and potent process of self-enquiry, perfect to help us hit the ground running. Colleagues from the coaching world have described this part as being profoundly supportive, all on its own.
An initial 90-minute live Zoom call where you will meet and get to know your own chart and that of your business, from a big picture perspective. For each of you, we’ll explore who you came here to be, the purpose you came here to serve, what supports your emotional wellbeing (for your business, what makes it sing with joy), and more. And we’ll look at how your business supports you via its own special superpowers and gifts in these areas, which allies it brings to the table to help you, and how you can take advantage of these gifts.
A pause, while you absorb everything you’ve learned, and you begin creating a day to day relationship with the most potent ‘big picture allies’ revealed in our first session. This is usually one to three weeks, for best results, and I’ll help you lean into it with ease.
A second 90-minute session where we examine this relationship at the micro level, exploring the gifts you and your business each bring when it comes to the nuts and bolts of business: marketing, sales, customer relations, business structures, choosing and taking ‘right’ actions, and so on.
During our time together, we’ll collaborate to create a Strategic Plan for you to implement at your own pace, based on everything we learn from our explorations.
Each video call last for 90 minutes, you can have your camera on or off, I will be sharing my screen so you can see exactly what I’m looking at in your chart, and the calls are recorded (either directly to your computer, or to my cloud server if you’re using a mobile device and need to download it later).
I will never use complicated astrological terminology without explaining it in plain English, and making sure you understand exactly what it means for you - the point of this whole thing is to be useful!
You’ll get a one-page ‘cheat sheet’ PDF outlining your unique Strategic Plan, so you can keep it handy
You’ll also get a lightly edited copy of my working notes, so you can easily remind yourself why you’re doing the different parts of your Strategic Plan. You can revisit the recording at any time, but sometimes you want a quick and handy reference doc, and this is it.
Bonus resources. I have a wide range of coaching resources I’ve created over the years, and if I recommend one which would normally incur a cost, you get it included with your Consult, so there are no extra costs.
OPTIONAL - you can, if you wish, add on 30 days of Asynchronous (AS) Coaching support at a special discounted price. This Add-On is ideal if you decide you’d like some help integrating and implementing the Strategic Plan for 30 days. This is not an ‘upsell’ as I will only make it available to you after our second Zoom call, and you’ll have 30 days to decide. This is only available to folks who have recently done a StarMap with me. AS Coaching happens when we’re not present at the same time - in other words, via some kind of messaging system, rather than in a ‘live’ conversation. I prefer to use Signal, WhatsApp or Voxer, as they allow for both text messages and short voice memos. Email is also an option.

Compassion: the most effective backdrop for change and growth, and a potent antidote to the mean voices and brain weasels in your head

A note about the cost

I’ve never wanted the giant scaled-up business empire with a team of coaches and a bathtub overlooking the Eiffel Tower.

But my work does need for me to make a living, which is why I do it as a business and not as a non-profit or a hobby.

And the stark reality for all of us is that we live in a world where people’s access to resources is wildly variable, in ways that have nothing to do with their innate brilliance or their gifts or their knowledge; and everything to do with the systems in which we were all raised.

So I use ‘Pay from the heart’ pricing, as taught by the brilliant Mark Silver from Heart of Business.

For all of my StarMap offers, there are three prices to choose from.

Here’s how to make your decision:

first, ask your heart ‘is this the thing I need or want right now?’- and listen for a powerful yes or a powerful no
second, ask your heart which of the three prices is most appropriate for you to pay (the $$ details are shown for each one below)

Standard: the ‘break even’ price, which enables me to keep the business going, and to put food on my table and a roof over my head

Growth: a generous amount designed for those who have more access to wealth and resources, who relish the opportunity to help subsidise those with less, and who want to support the growth of my business so I can, in turn, help more people

Hardhip: an accessible price for those who are in a situation where paying more would put their own food and shelter at risk.

Regardless of which price you pick, you will get the exact same service - no ‘punishment’ for needing to use the Hardship pricing; and no FOMO-inducing ‘VIP extras’ for choosing the Growth option (though of course, you will get lashings of gratitude, if that’s your pick)

I don’t use traditional equity pricing, where prices are set based on someone’s membership of a historically marginalised community - it’s not a terrible model, but I prefer to make space for the reality that there are many individuals from those communities who have found a way to break free of old generational constraints; and there are many in traditionally privileged groups whose personal circumstances may be difficult.

Pay from the heart means I trust you to choose the price that is most appropriate to your own situation, the price that your own heart quietly whispers in your ear.

Great question!
We humans are eternal beings having a temporary human existence, and we have a clear “arrival” - a moment of emerging into our own separate existence. We call it childbirth - it’s pretty dramatic and obvious, which makes it easy to observe.
Your business also had a moment of emerging into physical reality, because it’s already clearly present in your website, the art you've already sold, the people you’ve helped, and so on - even if it’s had blocks or stumbles along the way.
Your business’s “date of birth” is the moment you FEEL that it first came forth in that way.
It could be an official registration date. Or the moment your website went live. Or the first person you helped (paid or unpaid). Or the first painting sold, or the first solo exhibition, or the first poem accepted.
Some part of you already knows. And you could also ask your business for her thoughts.
Remember, for some of us there is a gestation period where we know this thing-we-want-to-do is emerging, but it's not yet here. That gestation can be anything from days to decades - and the moment of ‘arrival’ is something most people can sense or feel or just know.

Cancellations & Refunds

When you book and pay, you’ll get a confirmation email with a link so you can dive into the pre-session work.

It will also include buttons you can use to reschedule that session, as well as a button to put it into your calendar.

You’ll also get reminder emails 24 hours and 1 hour before the session, so you won’t miss it.

You can easily reschedule with the reschedule button, as long as it’s at least 24 hours beforehand. If you need to reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice, you’ll need to drop me an email - this is to make sure I have time to get the notification of the change before we meet up!

Refunds

I don’t offer cancellation with a refund simply for a change of mind, so I want you to be really sure before you commit - if you’re not sure after reading this page in detail, do please reach out with any questions so I can support you to make a powerful decision one way or the other.

I also know that a change of circumstances is a very different situation from a change of mind, so refunds may be available - and we’d need to have a conversation first.

Refunds are based on the following principles:

Not available once our first Zoom session has taken place
All future appointments are cancelled
You’ll stay on my email list, unless you unsubscribe as a separate thing (which you’re always welcome to do!)
If you’ve submitted any pre-work information, that data will immediately be deleted from my system
If I have given you access to any of my bonus resources, that access will be revoked
